Yesod7 uses only cookies (and similar storage) that are strictly necessary to run the service. Under the ePrivacy rules and GDPR, essential cookies do not need a prior opt-in.
Essential
- Session cookie (__Host-grok-auth.session_token and related auth cookies) — keeps you signed in.
- A bearer token in local storage on the live preview, because partitioned iframes cannot rely on cookies alone.
- Theme, accessibility and cookie-notice flags on this device — they never leave the browser.
These are not used for advertising. There are no analytics or marketing cookies today.
If that changes
Non-essential cookies would only be set after a clear opt-in. The privacy policy would be updated first.
